IMPROVING ACCESS TO PUBLIC BENEFITS Staff from the Counseling Center’s adult and children’s community psychiatric support programs are being trained to help consumers access public resources via the Ohio Benefit Bank. The Benefit Bank is a web-based computer program that assists low income Ohioans in determining eligibility for such programs as health coverage, home energy assistance, child care subsidy, food stamps or work supports. Persons who meet eligibility requirements can then proceed to apply on-line. |
