Treatment Works!
The Counseling Center uses tools recommended by the Ohio Department of Mental Health to track the success of its interventions. Results are impressive! For children and adolescents, results show statistically significant improvement in reported Problem Severity and in Level of Functioning in reports from parent surveys, youth surveys and clinician surveys. In addition, both youth and parents report statistically significant improvement in their level of Hopefulness.
In the case of adult clients, pre-post comparisons show statistically significant improvement in Symptom Distress, Quality of Life, Financial Status, and Empowerment. Worker reports also document statistically significant improvement in Community Functioning.
