• It is important to remember that it is normal for children to have behaviors that are problematic and a challenge to parents.

• Just as all children misbehave, all parents feel angry, frustrated, guilty or incompetent at times.  Parents try different approaches and made mistakes in parenting as they learn what works.

• There is no magic formula for parenting.  Yet, you can learn effective strategies, receive support, and enjoy parenting.  The growth & development of your children is an incredible process!

Through the Incredible Years Parent & Child Program, parents will learn through small group discussions, video examples, and practice.

• Parents will learn to effectively use the power of their attention, praise, and encouragement to build their children’s self esteem. 

• Parents will become catalysts in strengthening their children’s social skills, emotion regulation and school readiness. 

• Effective limit setting will be demonstrated and strategies for handling misbehavior will be explored and practiced.
